Esteblished 1790 by John Ross. Moved to it’s present place, which is about half a mile to the north, in 1895 to be closer to the railway station. Closed 1911-1948. The pot stills becomes steam-heated 1964. A third pot still is added 1970. Have used only two pot stills since 1969. .
