Registered 1813. Listed as home distiller 1817-18. Converted to grain 1826 by Stein stills. Installed a Coffey “like” continuous still under license 1851-03-11. In 1885 it had seventeen washbacks, each circa 22,142 gallons. Two Coffey stills. Almost went up in flames 1914. The malting were saved and used by Carsebridge distillery for the next 24 years. It was rebuilt an opened again Dec 1937.
